Waiver

Olomana Studios Pottery Class Terms & Liability Waiver WHAT TO WEAR Pottery can get messy, please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. We provide aprons, but recommend avoiding loose or valuable clothing. Leave personal items at home; Olomana Studios is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings. ARRIVAL If you are coming for a class, please arrive 10 minutes early, we will start exactly on time to respect those who have arrived on time. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS All sales are final and we are unable to offer a refund. If you need to cancel your booking, contact us at contact@olomanastudios.com and we can issue you a class credit. PICKUP AND FIRING Your pieces will be processed, fired, and glazed for you after class. This usually takes about 4 weeks from start to finish. You will be notified via email when your pieces are ready to be picked up. Ceramic firing is an imperfect process, and not every piece will survive the kiln. About 1 in 10 pieces will crack or fail. While we do our best to care for each piece, the heart of our classes is the joy of making and learning together. We can not guarantee a perfectly finished cup or object to take home when you come for pickup. --- GENERAL LIABILITY WAIVER By participating in classes, workshops, or events at Olomana Studios, I acknowledge and accept that working with clay, tools, and equipment carries inherent risks. I agree to follow all safety instructions and studio guidelines. I understand that failure to comply may result in removal from the class without refund. PHOTO WAIVER From time to time, Olomana Studios may take photos or videos during classes, workshops, and events. By signing this waiver, I give Olomana Studios permission to use any photos or videos in which I appear for promotional purposes, including social media, the studio website, printed materials, and advertisements. I understand that I will not be compensated for this use and that I waive the right to approve the final content. I acknowledge and consent that Olomana Studios may operate security cameras and other recording devices within the studio premises for safety, security, and internal operational purposes.
